Luciano’s goldsmith’s craft has deep roots, in his study, that i would define devoted to shake and signs of the past and to nature from which he draws inspiration and confirmation for his precious works.Ireland and the Dolomiti, which are present in the mind and in the heart of the artist, are the coordinates inside which his ability is measured in order to draw plastic shapes in continuous evolution from the metal, long thought and sketched on his notebooks or, simply, imagined in his mind and made-in the end-real subject and work of art. There is an attentive study, almost a long meditation, behind each of his realization, in which every element is attentively considered and weighed before being a part of the finished work. And this attention, at times almost maniacal for the detail, for the relation to a bigger plan, represents-in my opinion-Luciano’s deep modesty when he approaches the material, that until when an intense fire should not bring it back to a shapeless state, will stay to testify a search that-beyond being technique- has an ancient alchemic and spiritual value.Luciano M. creates objects of value, above all for the keen thought that ctays benind each single element, each single realization.
